General Physics II · Homework and Worked Solutions

Course notes · Formula sheet · Source map

Seven assignments, 40 problems, with every assigned subpart covered. Each problem includes its conditions, the relevant lecture method, and a worked solution. English is primary; Chinese notes clarify signs, assumptions, and common mistakes.

Reading conventions

  • Problem preserves the original task; Method links to the lecture sections used; Solution states the derivation and all requested conclusions.
  • Directions use right-handed coordinates. Current, emf, flux, capacitor charge, and terminal voltage are defined before signs are used. A boxed magnitude is distinguished from a signed component.
  • Unless stated otherwise, space is vacuum, \(k=1/(4\pi\epsilon_0)\), and idealizations are those of the exercise. Long-wire, far-field, thin-wire, negligible-edge, and negligible-self-inductance approximations are stated where used.
  • PDF page numbers and printed page numbers appear in each page's source metadata. Figure records identify each redraw and original computed plot.
